So this is my video debut. I thought I would do something special and dedicate this video to my best friend, Deanna. As many of you know (or for those of you who haven't read my Deanna blog post yet), Deanna was a very special friend to me, one that I can quite honestly say I give credit to for helping me become the absolute best version of myself and has given me the gift of loving every aspect of life.
You can read my blog post for the full story, but Deanna lost her battle to Leukemia in November 2010. It was an 11 month hard fought battle and she was the most fearless, strongest, and most beautiful person through the entire thing. Through my journey so far, Deanna has been my light, and has given me every reason to smile each day and to take this experience and rise above any time it gets me down.
Even through the bad days, Deanna found reasons to laugh and smile, so this video is to honour both her amazing humour and wit but also to honour her fearlessness and strength when she was going through her journey. I wish I could just see her for one day and thank her for literally everything, and also give her the biggest hug ever.
